YOGYAKARTA – Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 H, Alimat KUPI in collaboration with the Muslim Feminist Academy (AFM) is once again holding a short and intensive course. This activity focuses on examining issues of Muslim feminism in order to deepen public understanding of equality and justice within the framework of Islam.

The event, which will take place online on Saturday and Sunday, March 7–8, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. WIB, will feature expert speaker Prof. Alimatul Qibtiyah, Ph.D. She is the Secretary of Alimat, Professor of Gender Studies at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, and Commissioner of Komnas Perempuan for the 2020-2025 period.
On the first day, the discussion will explore the topic of “Feminism in Islam” with Pradhana Adimukti as the moderator. On the second day, the discussion will shift to “Gender in Islam,” guided by Luxy N. Farez.
